Drug Calculations:

1) 50mg of Atenolol is prescribed for your patient. You have 25mg tablets available, how many tablets do you need to give?

2) 7mg of warfarin is prescribed for your patient. You have 1mg, 3mg and 5mg tablets available. How many of each would you give?

3) Vitamin K is added to 55ml of 5% glucose. The total volume is 55.5ml. The stock solution for Vit K is 10 mg in 1ml. How many mg of Vit K is given?

4) Ketamine is prescribed 4mg/kg. Your patient weights 55kg. The stock solution is 500mg/10ml. What is the total dose in Mls?

5) A fixed rate infusion of insulin is needed for your patient. It is prescribed as 0.1units/kg. Your patient weighs 70kg. What would dose of insulin in units per hour be?
