Scenario 4 | RMN / RNLD

A 19 year old female with history of Borderline Disorder was admitted in the Acute Adult Unit. After several attempt of self-harming the family has convinced the patient to see a doctor who has admitted her since she is a danger to herself. You have just started your shift, as you are doing the morning checks you find your patient on the floor in the bathroom, she has managed to find something sharp and cut herself on her lower arms and both thighs, her GCS is 10, responsive to pain and looks very pail.

Comment on this young lady condition and suggest the priorities in her management.
