A 23 year old female with no PMH was admitted to A&E complaining of abdominal pain and history of 3 days without passing stools and vomiting liquid with brown colour since yesterday.

Taken strait to X-ray (with contrast) and CTPA to confirm a possible perforated bowel or bowel obstruction. The patient was diagnosed with perforated bowel and taken to theatres as an emergency.

She as just arrived to your ward post-op with a good baseline on vital signs, with paracetamol given once on recovery.

Vital signs done on the ward:

BP: 87/50
Pulse: 107
RR: 23
SpO2: 89%
Temp: 38.8 °C
