Patient:
9 year old boy
History:
Diagnosed asthma 6 months ago.

Admission:
Worsening shortness of breath.

Scenario:
You are admitting the boy to your ward. You notice he is having difficulty speaking, his chest is "quiet" on auscultation. He has a baby sister who is well but both his parents suffer from hay fever and his father had bad eczema as a child(needed hospital treatment). Neither of his parents smoke but his grandparents continue smoking when he stays with them.

His observations are as follows:

BP: 125/80
Pulse: 120
Sat: 86% of RA
Temp: 37.5
RR: 35
